The term hand fetish is originated from the Greek word "kheir" implying hand. It is a kind of paraphilia in which a person is brought in to hands and/or objects that look like hands. Common hand fetishes consist of hair, nails, skin, wrinkles, Veiny hands, and rings.


The earliest recorded circumstances of a hand fetish is from the fourth century BC when a guy was convicted of having sex with the statue of a lady in a temple. In the early 1900s, Sigmund Freud released a case study about a guy who was sexually aroused by his own hands.
